Chat group guidelines
We are a mutual support group, and are here for each other. The idea to keep us focused on hobbies, special interests, general chat, resources etc. To have a softer place, a place of safety with our focus on kindness and understanding. This is not the place for confrontational or crusading discourse.
1) Treat people with RESPECT. We are all autistic, which by definition spans a wide range of experiences and abilities, and many people have multiple health conditions, disabilities, intersectionalities, or just a vastly different experience to you. It is important to keep this in mind when interacting with people you have not met.
2) Degrading comments about things such as age, race, religion, disability, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated.
3) Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.
4) No dogpiling.
5) Keep arguing out of the group, take it elsewhere. A wall of angry text is triggering. If you see any arguing, report it to an admin immediately. Troublemakers may be removed from the group without warning!
6) No private messaging strangers without prior permission.
7) What's shared in the group must stay in the group. For safeguarding reasons, do not share messages, anyone's personal details, or details of events outside of this group.
8) If you have any issues, please report it to an Admin.
